Design Intent

Baldr's journey takes him through the realms, starting from his escape from Helheim where he discovers the encroaching influence of new technology on his body. Climbing out, he confronts the Valkyrie in Vanaheim, the last realm resisting this technological intrusion. With allies like Freya, Kvasir, Brokk, and Sindri, he aims to halt its spread. Guided by Kvasir, he reaches Asgard to challenge Loki in the coliseum. Baldr's path then leads to Svatalfheim, where he navigates polluted streets battling countless enemies, he confronts a mechanized version of the great inventor Ivaldi, purifying technology along the way. Ultimately facing the true Ivaldi, sealing his quest to cleanse the realms from technological corruption.

My Role

3D Prop, Environment & VFX Artist

  • Created ~40 prop and environment models.

  • Created five modular asset sets for the game to allow the designers to place them with ease to build out the environment.

  • Created said models from start to finish; including referencing/concepting to implementation and everything in between.

  • Created and implemented eighteen visual effects using the Niagara System in Unreal Engine.
