My Process
I began by using MidJourney, an AI image-generating software, to create reference images for the model.
Starting with the shield, I developed the basic structure before moving on to the sword upon completing the shield. For both models, I initially established the basic layout, and then refined the designs to align with the reference images and my vision. After the initial modeling, I subdivided the meshes and imported them into ZBrush to sculpt finer details, bringing the models to life.
Subsequently, I decimated the high-poly models and imported them back into Maya to align the high-poly and low-poly meshes accurately. I then UV-mapped the models and used Substance Painter for texturing, creating the materials with a combination of folders, layers, masks, and generators.
Finally, I imported the models into Unreal Engine for the final renders.
